Humming Bird Cabinet

This little cabinet is the result of marquetry, composed of 2mm thick wood pieces meticulously assembled.. For the contrast of the petals, I’ve used volcanic sand to burn the wood. The only non-natural color here is the blue. The patterns are a disease of the wood called “Birdeye”.
